Tim's Yamaha opened its doors in 1989. I started working for the previous owner, David Gilbert, in the spring of 1982 as a mechanic and later moved into a dual role as mechanic and part time salesman. I purchased the store in 1989 and haven't looked back, I purchased a small Polaris dealership in 1997 and moved it to Mena and combined them together. Tim's Yamaha has grown over the years and again I chose to make a move in 2007. I struck up a deal with Wesley Wright, who owned The Wright Place, we formed a partnership and opened, Mena Pawn and Gun, LLC. a gun and archery pro-shop.
